I recently took a return trip to Sedona, a place that is special to my heart, that has been calling my name for a long time, to which I was fortunate enough to visit in November, 2014 , and lucky enough to visit again from February 20th through February 24th, 2020.
This trip was part of a Yoga Retreat, hosted by @bewarriorsyoga and @livinggoodyoga [can find them on Instagram or at this site the Warrior Movement or be Warriors Yoga], called ‘The Deliberate Journey” ( #thedeliberatejourney to follow if you utilize twitter, Facebook or Instagram).
On February 21, 2020 we went to Red Rock Canyon, where we completed a Yoga Practice upon the beautiful Red Rock. Enjoy! Do not let fear get in the way of your hearts desires. Our freedom is just as valuable as our safety.
“Red Rock State Park is a 286 acre nature preserve and environmental education center with stunning scenery. Trails throughout the park wind through manzanita and juniper to reach the rich banks of Oak Creek. Green meadows are framed by native vegetation and hills of red rock. The creek meanders through the park, creating a diverse riparian habitat abounding with plants and wildlife. This riparian habitat provides the setting and the opportunity for the park to offer a focus on environmental education. Red Rock offers a variety of special programs for school groups and private groups. There are a number of daily and weekly park events. The park offers a visitors center, classroom, theater, park store, ramada and hiking trails.” from Tripadvisor.com
